All these instruments!

Now I did see a magnificent variety of instruments my last class period in New Works. I took some pictures with my cell phone, but I regret that I could not upload them, for I had no device in my possession to transfer my images from my phone to the computer, but over all, it was a great sight to see these instruments.

My New Instrument

This is my own original instrument I created. It is called a symcapali. It was really quite simple and easy to construct. It takes the concept of a styrofoam cup and expands it greatly. There are six of them and each of them has a rubber band wrapped around. Each is tuned to a different pitch to my liking. I thought of a way to amplify the sound, and the shape of the cups were perfect. Overall, I had a great time making this creation!
